Projects andcapabilities
This page maps capability areas and sample part families; it does not show delivered work.
- No references yet
- Publishable references will appear on this page as they exist.
- Capability status
- No part, drawing or image shown at the moment represents a delivered job; all are illustrative and labelled as such.

Capability areas and their status
The status of each area is labelled openly. No ordering or timeline is implied.
| Scope | Status | How scope is set | |
|---|---|---|---|
| CNC turning | Outside and inside diameter, thread, groove and hole machining | Target capability area | Per project, after the drawing has been reviewed |
| Live tooling and C-axis | Machining of off-axis features in one setup | Target capability area | Per project, after the drawing has been reviewed |
| CNC milling | Face, pocket, slot, hole, thread and 3D surface machining | Target capability area | Per project, after the drawing has been reviewed |
| Precision machining | Planning turning and milling together, inspection plan | Target capability area | Per project, after the drawing has been reviewed |
| Manufacturing engineering and planning | Manufacturability, process planning, CAM strategy | Target capability area | Per project, after the drawing has been reviewed |
| Digital engineering | ERP, CRM, data analysis, AI, custom software, mobile applications | Existing service | Through discovery and process mapping |
| Automation and data integration | Data capture, traceability, reporting infrastructure | Target capability area | Through discovery and process mapping |

03Assessment
How is a request assessed?
The same five steps are followed for every request.
01
Drawing and requirements
The technical drawing, material, quantity and documentation requirements are received.
02
Feasibility review
Manufacturability is reviewed in terms of geometry, tolerance and workholding.
03
Scoping
The process, inspection plan and any supplementary operations are clarified.
04
Quotation
Once the scope is clear, a quotation is prepared.
05
Planning
For approved jobs the process and inspection plan are put in writing.

Capability status
Eclipse Engineering is building its precision-manufacturing capabilities step by step. The manufacturing areas described on this page are target capability areas within the company's investment programme; equipment, capacity, material scope, tolerance class and lead time are confirmed separately for each project once the technical drawing has been reviewed.
